Provide a few details and I'll give you an estimated cost based on similar sized groups over the last few years
It's fully inclusive and includes:
- menu planning
- shopping and ingredients
- preparation and packing
- travelling and mileage
- cooking at your place
- cleaning up, ensuring the kitchen is as close to spotless as possible
- bringing crockery and all of the equipment I need
I can also bring cutlery and some glasses - taking all dirty plates and my equipment away to clean at home
I cook everything from scratch after I arrive on the day using fresh ingredients and the oven and hob available at the property.
Because I bring tableware and my own equipment I put everything into boxes and whip it away to be washed at home, so you're not left with stacks of dirty crockery or a full dishwasher to unload the next morning!
Payments
A £100 deposit books and secures the date. Half of the remainder is due the month before the meal, with the balance payable on the night, either when I arrive or after the meal.
What I bring
I will bring enough dinner plates, side plates and dessert bowls for all diners as standard. I'll also bring all of the equipment I'll need in the kitchen (though occasionally I might use the odd spoon, oven dish or pan if it fits the hob better than mine).
Holiday cottages sometimes don't have enough cutlery for three course meals - and sometimes people are short when organising large gatherings in their own homes - so in the car I also keep a full 168 piece set of cutlery for a three course meal for up to 24 people. I also have an emergency box of napkins, a tablecloth, matches etc if needed and can bring 24 tall water glasses on request - just ask.
